Ilesyn was the afterthought child, born almost twenty
turns after her closest in age sibling, a rather surprising
addition to the family indeed. Born on the road between
Fort Hold and South Boll, the youngest daughter of the
Terilin Trading Family spent her youngest days moving
along the route that the family had taken for as long
as anyone could remember. She proved to be an almost difficult
child, prone to evesdropping and bossiness, eventually
ending up as an Apprentice Healer, and then, a Senior
Apprentice specialising in Mindhealing, posted to Fort
Weyr. She was searched perhaps a turn later, heading to
Monaco - albeit reluctantly - as a candidate. She occupied
herself with a candidate study, until the eggs hatched,
and she returned to Fort - having failed to Impress. Her
Journeywoman's knot was achieved within a turn of this,
perhaps partially thanks to it. Although age has not really
smoothed her somewhat obvious faults, she's nonetheless
amiable enough--although quite ready to take on the world
at any time. More recently, she was forced (in her words)
to accept a second candidacy, but rather than prove her
sanity, Ilesyn found herself quite attached to a brown
- Nallath.
She's since more or less settled in to the life of a
rider, though not without more than her fair share of
trials and tribulations - and, to be fair, not such an
awful lot in other ways. She'll never love the life of
a rider, but somehow, over the past few turns, she's gained
an understanding of what her purpose is - and where she
can best help, little though she wants to at times.
Here, one can discover the 'truth about Ilesyn', if such
a thing exists, through her biographical information,
her logs, and her personality synopsis, not to mention
Nallath himself.
