Nearly fifteen turns ago, a young woman ran away from from her family's small hold, in the Southern Boll region, winding up at Southern Hold not so long after. She was picked out of obscurity to stand for a Southern Weyr clutch, Impressing green Iesath during the middle of a heat wave, and went on to become Wingsecond of Starflame before she was eighteen. Two turns later, she was promoted again, seconding Southern's Weyrleader-- and even, for a time, taking his place.

Weyrsecond, greenrider, mother, friend-- all of these titles can be used to describe this woman, but titles alone do not a person make.

Meet Auralia.

Auralia is my character on SouCon MUSH, set in the tenth pass of Pern, in a timeline that does not include the discovery of AIVAS. She was created in January 1999, and has been played regularly throughout the period since then. She's the character probably nearest and dearest to my heart-- one of the oldest of mine that is still actively played, and certainly the one that captivates me most after that period. This site is a collection of all that is Auralia, from her background and personality, to her lifemate, to the roleplay logs that feature her, collected since some of my earliest days playing her. Read a little, enjoy a little, but keep your hands off-- she's mine, and you can't have her.
